Landscapes

I’ve always been inspired by the wide-open Northern Plains, and I’ve been exploring how to capture the vast spaces and dramatic skies in watercolor and gouache.

Florals

I was that artist who never wanted to paint flowers. Then I took part in a “Painting-A-Day” challenge, and quickly ran out of subject matter. “Learning-by-doing” has been a powerful tool in my development, even though it’s meant lots of trial and even more error.
